Brand Profile

MUZZI is a brand born for matte tiles, devoted to building a contemporary Chinese tile aesthetics brand with an international outlook rooted in local culture and art. The name says it all: people who admire porcelain, who share the same ideals, working together in the tile business — drawn here by porcelain itself.

Founded in 2016, MUZZI was created by a founder with 20 years of marketing and management experience in overseas tile markets. International thinking, combined with a distinctive artistic language, is woven into the brand identity to create serene, elegant and quiet spatial experiences — simple, comfortable and artistic solutions for the modern home.

Focused on matte tiles, MUZZI offers more than a hundred refined products and runs a dedicated tile art cutting and matching centre. Annual output reaches 13 million square metres, exported to over 90 countries. In 2024 MUZZI entered a deep partnership with the Indonesian ceramic factory IKAD, exporting advanced Chinese technology and original R&D and design capability for high-end export products. MUZZI holds 3C certification and ISO 9001 quality management certification, as well as EU standard certification, with matching ranges reaching R10, R11 and R12 international slip resistance. The company has also been recognised as a National High-Tech Enterprise. Long-term strategic partnerships with Aranya Beijing, Jayne Shenzhen, Moon Bay Guangzhou, the Hong Kong Housing Authority and the Singapore Housing & Development Board make MUZZI a matte tile specialist that clients can trust.

At MUZZI, there is a texture called nature.

For six years MUZZI has concentrated on developing matte tiles and building a complete system, working from the Pantone colour system to achieve sophisticated colour families, pure hues, rich textures, varied styles, dependable quality and a broad range of formats. The R&D team has created five core technologies — digital fine engraving, deep relief, ultra-fine soft polishing, ultra-fine grit and nano glaze layering — producing skin, composite, frosted, natural and soft-light surfaces that answer designers' creative intentions and present spatial concepts professionally.

MUZZI is located in the beautiful, cultured Meitao Bay of Foshan. In 2018 the former production workshop of the Shiwan Fotao Group was chosen as the new starting point of the MUZZI Tile Art Museum. In sharp contrast to a conventional ceramic showroom, the museum sets new against old, tradition against modernity and culture against innovation — a tile art museum layered with time and spatial history. It still preserves a memory of Foshan's ceramic craft: the Litao press YP1000, from the first batch produced by Guangdong Fotao Group Litao Machinery in 1993 and the first 1,000-tonne press independently built in China, breaking the monopoly held by Germany, Italy and Japan — a revolutionary victory for the industry at the time. Shiwan ceramic figurines and a crossover wine culture area are also part of the museum. Inheriting the Foshan ceramic art spirit while holding fast to Chinese art and culture, and never forgetting crossover innovation, MUZZI is a matte tile brand with depth and culture.

With an unwavering original intention, MUZZI keeps walking steadily and far. Today MUZZI franchisees and partner designers are found across China and around the world, and the brand continues to serve franchisees, design studios and consumers wholeheartedly, truly attending to their needs. In 2022 MUZZI received the "Ceramic Brand Recommended by Designers of the Year" award — matte tiles by MUZZI are ever more favoured by designers. In the future MUZZI will hold to an original attitude, open a path of brand differentiation and continue to shape a refined, beautiful matte tile brand.
